I think if I had your situation I would try one of these new floor model A/C's and vent it to a bay or through a wall. I looked at a 9000 BTU model the other day. It did not take up a lot of room and would be a big help on high temp days. The price was in the mid $300.00, far cheaper than a second roof top. One could always take it out and use it at home, cottage, or work shop. Maybe some enterprising soul on the forum has tried this and will testify.

Tommy T and Alann:

Welcome to the forum . You will absolutely not find a better place on the internet to get help and share your RV experiences. There are some great folks here.

Post your Winnebago-related questions and comments on the Winne Owner's forum but be sure and check other places on this site for valuable information. There are general discussion forums, pet owners, towing and toads, RV product reviews, etc....lot's of great resources.

Again, welcome!

Hi all, I'm new to iRV2, and enjoy the comments. I have been RVing since about 1976.
After Retiring, I finally traded in my 35' 1988 Allegro for a 35' 1998 Winnebago Adventurer with single slide. It's really a nice rig.
Although I recently had a bad experience I would like to pass on.
A couple of weeks ago, I gathered upn my wife and two grandaughters for a week at our favorite local water park. About 30 miles out, my right outside rear tire blew. (Blew is a mild term) It tore Holly H**l from the underside. We were very lucky, because one of the damaged items was the propane lines and regulator. I feel fortunate it didn't blow. Anyway, I just got the estimate back today.....it was a little over $14,000. My insurance company never blinked an eye. They will take care of all the damage. So when I get the motor home back, my old 1998 will have a lot of new parts.
The tire in question was only about 2 years old. The steel belts litterally broke inside the tire. I now have all new tires, including the spare.

Happy RVing from:

I want to add my welcome to you. Our IRV2 group is loaded with great info and assistance is always here.

Your post about the tire problem leads me to suggest that the use of a tire pressure monitor might have enabled you to avoid the damage. Do a search and you will find all about tires and their problems and solutions.

We are new to all this, picking up the new Meridian 36 next week. We will be using it weekends for a few months, shaking it and us down on a bunch of short trips and stays. Looking forward to really hitting the road early next year when I retire. This is a great and informative forum, we've learned a lot and look forward to learnign a lot more. How do I sign in/join this forum?

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum.

We recently took delivery of a "new to us" 2004 Winnebago 38R. This is our first experience with a Winnebago product and so far we are very pleased. We have been away from motorhomes for quite a few years while we had 5th wheels.

I look forward to the sharing the information that appears to be available on this site.

Thanks to the folks that sponsor this site and the folks that contribute the wealth of information. I am new to the site and recently purchased a Winnebago Voyage 33V. We love the coach and are setting out on our first long trip early next month to the west coast from here in the Ozarks.

Hello! Hello!, just joined last week, first post, After much (about a year) research the wife and I decided on the Cambria 29H. We purchased our first motorhome in 1972. Have had many since. Our only other Winnebago was a 1994
Elante 34'. Sold our last one, a 38' diesel pusher 2 years ago. We're looking forward to traveling "smaller". We'll be making shorter
trips more frequently.
