Thanks for the welcome Folks.

Tps0424 - Oh yeah, they caught her. Totaled out my bike and made her car undrivable. She climbed out asking "what did she hit?" She got a ticket for no drivers license and let go. She's lucky I was "out" the whole time. Also uninsured of course, found out later her license was revoked for prison time and multiple drug convictions. Nice. 3 years and still a little bitter, can ya tell? So much for 26 yrs of riding.
On a better note, yeah I'e been researching MH's for years, my wife always gives me grief for "over" researching. Winnebago was on my short list back before, even more so when I found out about factory mods for w/c's. This 2slide UA fits us to a tee and should treat us well for years to come. The owner(in a chair) is moving up to a 4slide CC.

007 - I imagine I will be posting like mad after I get the rig, probably on the trip home. I'll try and post some pics along the way(as well as a bunch of Q's)

Hi everyone. I am also a "silent lurker" and will probably stay that way until I think I can say something useful or maybe helpful. Been reading the posts for about a year now and got a lot of good info on some things I've seen. Just got the Winnie last Dec. 05 and I've had my share of fun and troubles. But I'm still learning....

I would like to ask anyone who has never posted in the Winnebago forum to consider making one post. The purpose for this post would sort of be an online roll call...

Your post could introduce yourself,or maybe the type of rig you own or are interested in. PLEASE FEEL FREE to make a one-time post and then lurk again if desired.

Thank you for visiting the Winnebago Forum!

Isn't it possible that a number of the guests are actually members that have not logged in? I check out the forum often each day but 99% of the time I don't log in. Maybe a survey of members that don't log in would help also.

Good point Bob, but I would encourage you to take the minute or so it takes to log in as you will not see "Private Messages" sent to you if you're not logged in.

I know sometimes members use the PM method to ask or answer questions and by not being logged in you aren't able to access that feature.

If,on the other hand, you're not a fan of PM's by all means we appreaciate your participation just as much...

Thank you all for your continued support of iRV2.

You caught me lurking....

Howard & Beretta Goodwin here, Washington, North Carolina.

Purchased our first RV in the spring/06. 1973 Wbago Indian. Dodge 440,Spicer 4:56. It was sheltered most of it's life and only showed 53k on the odometer.
Trips so far include Ocracoke, Cherokee, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, Lumberton.
We always get noticed by other campers....The Winnebago is a keeper for sure.

Just found this website, on my 3rd Winnebago and this one, 2005 Itasca Horizon is about to drive me over the edge. Not so much Winnebago, but the vendors. Believe I have had to replace or fix every component.. My dealer in Oregon was nothing to brag about and the ones near my home in CA are so back logged it takes 3, months to get an appointment. By the way FMCA is starting a California Winnebago Chapter.

Hi Y'all! I've been a member of this site for some time, but have just bought a new Winnebago Adventurer 38T. I traded in a '96 Monaco Windsor w/250hp Cummins. I will be interested in seeing how the Chevy 8.1 compares. My new coach should be ready in a couple of days. I'll change my "profile" later. Lots of good info' in this section!
