dphorton, 55,800 miles, changed oil and lubed chassis every 5K miles.
Used Motorcraft 5W20 as per manual and oil cap.
If you look at the pictures earlier in this thread the engine valve train was super clean.

Hi Grant & Pat,
Ford changed the recommended viscosity to 5W-30 in 2015, but the engine didn't change. A 56K mile service life for an engine indicates something was wrong. I would recommend that you run a 5W-30, or better yet a 0W-40. The ridiculously thin (at operating temperature) oils were pushed to increase the Corporate Average Fuel Economy.

Eagle5, thinking very seriously about going to 5W30 after the break in oil comes out at 500 miles.
