Hello, we just purchased a 2023 Minnie Winnie 22M ..havent been on a road trip yet but havesome concerns about the sony av receiver radio system. It seems that to use apple carplay (and google maps nav system) we have to plug in a USB connection, but by doing that we have to unplug the usb that connects the side and rear cameras…is there anyway that the display will show both ? The way it is now it seems we will have to continue to use a seperate GPS for a nav system if we want the side and rear cameras to function…our dealer has not been much help with this. Thanks!

HI, I have been talking to both Good Sam and Wholesale Warranties about an extended policy for our 2006 Winnebago. Both will cover it but only for a few more weeks as once it is over 15 years old it must be deemed too old. So, my question to you is what are your thoughts on spending the money for an extended warranty on an older motor home?

    Thanks,
    -Jon

Hi...so we have had our sightseer for about a month now and been out for a total of 9 evenings. A couple of issues have developed. When we bought it we knew the Level Best (Kwikee) system was not operating and as I have looked into it a bit I see it is a very complicated set up. Do you have any thoughts on these systems? So far we keep setting up in level spots and have not had an issue. Also...we lost our manual awning in (dometic) in heavy winds while we were driving with the awning fully retracted. It is covered under our insurance but I'm wondering if simply replacing the awning with another manual one is the way to go or should we look at an automatic one? Thanks! And hope all is well with you!

Just a small update. I stopped by the 22M dealer today. My wife wanted to check out the unit. The salesman came up 10K on our Travato Trade-in. Going back tomorrow for some final negotiations. I think I can maybe 5k off of their asking price. I looked on the Winnebago site today and the Travatos now START at 130K. It’s insane!

Thanks so much Mr. Eagle! I always enjoy your comments and suggestions. There’s a few of you guys on here that are incredibly knowledgeable about Winnebago and RVing in general.

Hello. I have a very small filter on my water tank fill outside and I was wondering what's the best way to put a couple of teaspoons of bleach in the tank to keep it clean. If it didn't have a filter I would have used a funnel but I'm not sure what would be the best way to do this. I would like to hear what others that have a filter have done on this matter. thank you

We are buying a spirit 22m this weekend. Our first RV. You seem very knowledgeable and I was wondering if you have any advice.
