<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Temp in coach was 60 degress,had thermostat at 68.

Your heat pump should have worked; just need to "bump" it up slowly. If inside temp was 60, adjust the "set" temp to 62. When inside temp reaches 62, bump up to 64, etc, etc. Just don't exceed the 4 degree differential which will drive the system into the LP mode.
Anyway, glad you got your LP online.

Thudman, admittedly I hadn't read enough of the manual to know what the differential was....It did blink "diff" which I understood was differential, but didn't know the degree setting.
Thanks....

Bob, didn't go back and read all the posts so I may be posting something that already been covered.
In my coach, no matter what the differential, if it is too great for the heat pump to handle, the propane kicks in warms the coach and after that the heat pump maintains the temperature.
Of course this does not apply below the low temp for the heat pump. 35/40 degrees. If this has been said I owe you a cup of coffee. Jim

Jim, I realize you read this by email,(I think??),so I'll give you the jest of the story....
The knucklehead owner of the new Vectra...(ME!!), in his hurry to make sure everything was turned off the other night, aparently turned off the switch marked "propane".
Furnace kept comingon like it was "asked" to do,saw there was no propane and turned off.
Dennis Graham from way out there in Californ-I-A had te idea to check the propane switch.

My heat pump does not shut off if I exceed the 3 degree differential. When I exceed 3 degrees both the heat pump and the gas furance run at the same time. Once the set temp has been acheived only the heat pump cycles.

New experience yesterday,thought I share....
Happened to have the coach out yesterday on a really bad section of Interstate 64 here (it's all bad... ) and the 32" flat was reallly "smacking" the upper cabinet when I hit a bump.
I'm going to look at it this morning and probably put some bumpers on the top edge.
If my "ears" are correct, that's where it was happening.

Hey Bud,
That 32" is pretty heavy. You may need to check the mounting harware as well. Is there a safety strap on that just in case? Also, you may want to consider putting some rubberized bumpers all around the rear side (while not blocking any ventilation holes). What may be knocking at the top now will eventually knock on the bottom as well (and possibly the sides).
Take Care..

Just found another minor issue today to add to the warranty punch list...
It finally stopped raining this afternoon so I went out to the coach.
As I walked up to the passenger side I noticed the "slide topper" awning had a big bow in it.
After getting on a ladder and using a broom to dispel the water I made a note on my list.
I'm guessing the fabric can be tightened.
The other two slides were fine....
Got the DirecTV working and now my daughter thinks that's her "special" tv place on weekends...RUTRO!!!)
(Still waiting for Directv to turn in the networks, sent the form in last week.

And now she will want to have all her friends over to hang out and watch TV in that shiny new rig....

I'm surprised the slide topper wasn't able to shed off the water completely. Must have come down REAL hard!!

No slumber parties in the coach please ranger!!
Trace,it DID come down really hard last night, enought that it woke me up as it fell on the skylight in our master bath....I'm guessing that the rain, couple with the little bit of slack, made it droop....It's all better now.

Looks like Winnebago's new wide, wide body Vectra.
Now if you have a side photo you'd be about 60'.
