New to us RV problems already! 2017 Spirit 26A

Hello,

We just bought a used 2017 Spirit 26A in July, as a 30th wedding anniversary gift to each other.

We dabbled some in RV life, with a Class A Damon Daybreak we owned for a year, and a Jayco travel trailer we owned at a seasonal site for a year and a half.

This is our first class C rig and we both love it!

We’ve been camping with our two golden retrievers. They love it too!

It’s great to be able to bring them along and not have to worry about their care when we are gone.

We’ve only taken it out 3 times to campgrounds in the area so far.

This last trip we had a problem with the bedroom slide out … as in it was stuck half way out … and someone recommended joining the Winnebago forum (that we didn’t know existed), so here I am!

Greetings 2dogmom,
The 2017 is a good year for the Minnie Winnie as it has the six-speed automatic, rather than the five-speed (brochure.) For your 30th wedding anniversary, it sounds like you have found a pearl of great price. Hopefully, the fix to the stuck slide wasn't too bad. It wasn't all jammed-up with dog hair, was it? (ha-ha)
I always travel with Grace, so a motorhome is the natural choice!
Welcome to the forum.
