I have went though that. I just give up, just waiting for a more normal time to trade. It is a sellers market. Dealers are seeing dollars signs on each unit. They are getting it on the service side too, the units are being built with no quality control at the manufactures so they are backed up with service even more than usual with the way units are being built.
I ordered a new 2021 View 24D from my local dealer in October 2020. They had a VIN# reserved for me and expected delivery was in late December. I received a call from the dealer on December 4th indicating my VIN # was inadvertently given to another purchaser. I was told my unit would be one of the first off the line in 2021. They noted there was a delay in obtaining the Mercedes chassis so they could build the RV. Therefore the expected delivery was in June. I called the dealer today (4/5/2021) to get a status and was told there has been a further delay and my unit is now not expected to come off the line until August 24, 2021! This is the end of the summer Has anyone experienced this issue? It's especially disconcerting because my original unit was given to someone else! I'm just beside myself!
Hi We ordered our View in Feb 21, and our July delivery date has now moved to "August" We will see. Did you get our order yet?
Wow! You are lucky if you ordered yours in 2/2021 and are getting it in August. As you can see from my original post I ordered mine in 10/2020 and my off the assembly line has now been pushed to early September. Then there is the delivery to the RV dealer in my city. Where are you picking yours up??
Has anyone experienced this issue? It's especially disconcerting because my original unit was given to someone else! I'm just beside myself!
