View Slide out track is bowing…
I’m camping near a Winnebago 2020 View that has an issue with her slide out in the rear. Winnebago worked on it, but it looks like when they put it all back together, one side is off by a few teeth as compared to the other. Note how one track is bent in towards the slide out and the other bowed away.
Anyone know how to adjust these things?
Thanks!

Either though it looks odd, that looks normal based on my experience. You can actually push in or pull out the track bow with your hand. For motor/gear synchronization, the manual explains to hold in the button for a couple of seconds after the slide come to a full stop (in both directions.
In your picture, you should be able to push in the bowed piece with your hand, or pull out the piece that is flush with the slide. I've seen them in both positions and these tracks seem to be designed to flex like that. Still does seem odd, but if they wanted them not to flex, the track would be secured along the entire slide, which it isn't.

I understand the old style slide-out racks were directly attached to the slide-out wall, with the pinion driving them from the cut-out frame. This required a tolerance of no more than ¼" on the slide-out box, or else the pinion would skip teeth in the rack. The new style with the floating rack has a very generous slide-out box dimensional tolerance, as the pinion captivates the rack, so the tooth engagement is consistent.

Thanks. But the tensions on both tracks is amazing. It’s so taught I can’t budge hers at all.
It seams like the whole slide out is tweaked, so that one side is out farther than the other.
Can these tracks where they meet the gears be adjusted? It’s like it’s a few teeth off on one side as compared to the other?
She said she tried syncing it, I’ll try it myself tomorrow…

The extra tension is normal. Mine is the same. As for one side of the slide out further out than the other is not right. More could be going on or maybe something is in the way. I've had curtains in the way of the slide and just a little bit of curtain stopped the slide on one end. I don't know on the adjustment so no input there.
Not that it matters but from the picture, it looks to be older than 2020 model. Is that the bedroom slide? That was discontinued in 2020 but the slide mechanism is the same.

Well, she said it was a 2020. Yes, it’s the rear bedroom slide.
She jammed it with something, and Winnebago “fixed” it. Took the whole room off. I think she’s off by a few teeth on one side …just don’t know how to get it back in order.

And for everyone else following, here's a link to a trouble shooting flow chart in the event the slide will not move and you suspect controller issues;
