2011 Winnebago on air TV not receiving on air broadcast
I purchased my Winne a few months ago and am taking it to local RV parks to shake whatever issues it has out.
As I stated in the Subject message my on air TV;s do not receive on air broadcasts.
I have 3 TV's and none work (one in the main room one in the bedroom and one outside). I checked the signal from the antenna and get signal from the antenna to a cabinet that have component Jacks a receptacle that says from roof satellite and a jack that says from portable satellite and 4 component jacks with nothing attached to it. My tv in the main room has component jacks hooked in the back.
I have no clue how the over air antenna connects to the TV's. So what I am looking for is some kind of wiring diagram from the antenna to the TV's or some words of wisdom from you all.
I tried sending a photo but can't with this ap, Sorry

You may find these wiring diagrams for your coach helpful: TV Coax Wiring Diagram
TV/DVD Wiring Installation diagram
(You can go here Wiring Diagrams to see the full diagrams for a given year/model coach.)

And then when you see something on the drawings and can't tell WHERE that part may be?
This is an interactive parts catalog which lets us sort down to the type parts (like TV) that we need to find, turn things over, zoom and do all kinds of neat things once we get used to using it:
https://catalog3d.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm
A bit more info on the parts site?
https://www.winnieowners.com/forums/...ml#post3898521
It does take a small download of the program but once into using it, you will love it for finding what all you have in the new coach!

Thanks Oberi for the quick reply. Unfortunately why model 30A is not listed. Not sure why but they removed all sightseer 30 A manuals. Is a 31 E similar to the 30 a?

I am far from being knowledgeable on TV's and you may be way ahead of me on this but did you push the little button that turns on the OTA amplifier? If so, did you check with a volt meter to see that the little amplifier is putting out 12 volts to the antenna?

You said you had a 2011 coach and your profile indicated that you have a Sightseer 33c, so those are the wiring diagrams I linked for you. If in fact your have a 30A, is it perhaps really a 2012 (Coach year, on a 2011 chassis)? If so, here are the same diagrams for the 2012 Sightseer 30A: TV Coax Wiring Diagram
TV/DVD Wiring Installation

I had a similar problem last summer.
1. Make sure you have the power on at the antenna booster (usually located in a cabinet front passenger side).
2. Use the wiring diagrams and test with a coax tester for end-to-end connectivity.
3. Replace all, if not most, of the crimp-on connectors and couplers.
In my case, I just went ahead and replaced all my connectors to include the ones on the rooftop batwing antenna. There's also an access door under the kitchen sink that will give you access to a lot of the coax. I found a bad coupler connection there, as well.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

I'm going with this being the problem. It seems to be the most common reason.

Thanks for the diagrams. I had the wrong model number under my profile that I since fixed.
Would you know if these diagrams will work with a 30 A

Perhaps a small point but putting the info on your signature is a much more direct way to go as it allows anybody reading the post to see without the extra step of going to your profile to get the info.
But for the question, yes the diagrams should be posted for all models.

In my earlier reply I supplied links for the 2012 30A TV Wiring Diagrams as well. Here's a link to all of the Wiring Diagrams for the 2012 Sightseer 30A.

After you turn your amplifier on you also need to scan for channels. You do this everytime you park in a new place to get your locals.
You didn't say which rig you have, or what troubleshooting you'd already done.

Try something simple
We have a 2013 Itasca. We have had no problem receiving OTA signal until May of this year. Our Samsung wouldn’t even get cable. So when I went to the TV programming section on the tv and went to where you program for cable or tv (sorry, I’m not in the rig right now) I chose tv and then played with the different programming formats. I found one that worked!
If you haven’t tried that already, I suggest you do that before you try pulling off connectors etc. Your other two TVs are slaved to the main so, I hope, this may work for you!

I have a 2013 32A, have to select tv for source, and make sure signal booster is on. Then run channel scan. Play with antenna position to try and find the best signal.

The 30A according to the Winnebago Brochure Archive was a new model introduced as a 2012 model not a 2011.

Hi. Thanks for replying.
I have done some troubleshooting. Checked the signal from the antenna to the coach which is fine.
The booster is turned on and I have scanned for channels on all TVs
Hope that answers your questions
