Journey Front plastic cover

I have a 2011 Journey that looks pretty good for its age, all except the front end plastic cover that wraps around the whole front cap below the windshield. It really looks bad since it appears that dirt/mildew/crud has gotten between the paint and that cover. I want to remove that plastic coating. Anyone had any experience getting that protective coating off?

There are numerous posts regarding Diamond Shield/3M Film removal. Just type that into the search bar above and choose your poison.

Heck, I've even posted on the subject myself. https://www.winnieowners.com/forums/...al-352410.html

That stuff is much like the little girl and her curl. When its good, it is very very good, but when it goes bad it is horrid.

After we managed to remove our film, we chose not to reinstall.

I went through that ordeal 2 years ago. I did the removal myself and followed a how-to video on how to do it. It took almost 3 days on and off. I used the plastic chisels and Goof Off. It was a vast improvement.
