Jacks creak and pop 2021 Winnebago Adventurer 36Z

We have a 2021 Winnebago Adventurer 36Z. We hear frequent creak and popping noises that appear related to the hydraulic jacks. Saw an older thread where others posted a similar issue back then. Anyone have newer updated information or suggestions? Back then, the advice was to call Winnebago (which we will do) and they directed folks to a Lippert contact. Appears Lippert had some bad jack units back then. Not sure what the issue might be now. Will appreciate thoughts/ideas.

Closely inspect the jack mounting brackets. For instance, my HWH brand jacks have mounting brackets that slant outward about 5°. This means the foot must slide sideways some when the cylinder shaft is extending; this is for improved stability while on the leveling jacks. My jack feet make an awful sound when parked on a concrete pad.

The popping is caused by stiction in the jacks. It’s a super common issue.

Lippert has publish instructions how to add a different hydraulic fluid to reduce or eliminate the issue.

I have this issue at times when we move in the Coach, mostly at night and mornings. When we first heard it we freaked out and thought it was a major worry. But once we learned what it was we just accepted it. It’s not that big a deal to us, so we haven’t made the fix detailed in the pdf above.

I don’t know what the creaking you hear could be.
