Front Bracket for Grill Fell off

My Winnebago Sunstar 2018 black bracket which is glued on the the front inside of the RV fell off on my last trip. Is this a Ford Issue or a Winnebago issue? I am getting conflicting answers and can't get this part. It holds the front grill panel in place with a lock on the right and left side. It is mounted inside the area where you check the oil and other fluids.

It’s a Winnebago issue. You can try and remove the original goop and replace it if you want. I elected to put stainless steel boots through both sides of the bracket when mine fell off.

Yep. Winnebago issue. The glue they've used does not adhere well to the painted bracket. Bracket must be sanded to bare metal before applying adhesive. Try here: https://winnebagoparts.com/ and here https://catalog.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm

Just to add to this follow-up. During our most recent trip, while doing my walk-around inspection I found that several of the glued-on brackets holding the front grill had come off or were loose. This could have caused catastrophic damage to the engine (and perhaps more) if the grill had come off while traveling down the road.

I slathered on a bunch of JB Weld KwikWeld (which I stock in my fix-it kit) and held everything in place until it set up (six minutes). So far it seems to be holding.

I think your best bet is just to call Winnebago or Lichtsinn RV. We don't know what model 2018 Sunstar you have so I can't tell exactly what you need from the parts catalog.

I did take a look at the parts catalog for a 2018 Sunstar 31 here:

https://catalog.winnebagoind.com/2017/300084.htm

You can flip the image over with your cursor and click on the part you need.

If this is the wrong model, you can choose yours here:

https://catalog.winnebagoind.com/menu/Parts.htm

You'll want to look at the "Exterior" page (click on the blue description)

Good luck.
