Gassing the Squirrels

Safety first !! If you are not certified to plumb LP gas, take it to someone who is.

In my view, a gas grill is an essential part of camping and although some would say that charcoal is better, I'll take convenience over taste. Door Awning launch

Posted 12-21-2023 at 05:09 PM by HiBanky

If it's not one awning it's the other! Now the awning over the door has given it up in a rather unsettling way. The motor turns but no motion in or out. Something awfully familiar about this.

I pulled it down from the coach which was simple enough. Drill out two pop rivets, cut the wires and slide it...

Gas Furnace gone wild

Posted 11-30-2023 at 10:05 AM by HiBanky

It's 1:00 AM in Central Florida and the temperature is 34 degrees. I'm in a deep sleep and suddenly a horrendous noise wakes me. The coach is shaking like a washing machine out of balance and a noise is coming from the foot of the bed that sounds like a drum solo. In a trance like state, I jump from my bed and search for the source. The noise is loudest at the gas furnace return vent. So, I go to the control panel and shut off the heat. Now the furnace has about a two-minute delay after shutting...

No DC power while boondocking on My 2006 Adventurer 35

Posted 10-27-2023 at 05:15 PM by Gordon92026

Hi All,

When disconnected from shore power the inverter shows 12.7 volts when solar is off and 13.8 when on. The converter/charger is at 13.6 volts when on shore power. I replaced the battery solenoid and isolator and get no DC at the main panel. The odd thing is when on shore power for a couple of days I will get maybe...
