Cargo Draws won't open

Posted 06-13-2019 at 07:25 PM by foxtrot70

I have a 1993 Elante' I transferred my stuff from my old RV to this one now the draws will not open. I suspect that an item is pushing the container door up (slightly open) and the container door is catching on the frame. Any suggestions on how to get it opened?

Rear camera on Minnie Winnie Plus 5th wheel unit.

Posted 06-09-2019 at 09:48 AM by Lordpedro

Hi, the unit is apparently "pre-wired" for a rear viewing camera and sure enough there is a black/red wire there.

However I have tried everything to get power to the camera with alas no joy.
Anybody got any thoughts/ideas would be most appreciated.
Cheers, Lordpedro

Checking tire pressure with on board computer

Posted 05-31-2019 at 08:48 AM by Dougherzog

I just purchased a 2018 Winnebago VIEW 24V and the Mercedes manual says if I have on the wheel buttons, I then can read all six tire pressures so I don't have to snake the gauge inside the wheelwell. Mercedes has been no help and I was wondering if anyone can help me to see if I can or cannot read tire pressure with the on board Mercedes computer. Thanks. Doug H.

Electric problem Itasca Sunstar 36Y

Posted 05-30-2019 at 12:27 PM by mitchoe

Iím hoping for some help, all of a sudden my electric shut off. Hooked to 30amp shore with a good surge protector, nothing appears wrong with it, it is getting good power from the pedestal. Plugged directly, still no power. No breakers popped. Turned on gennie, it works fine and power works, just not from shore. Itís like something shorted out, just not sure what. Inverter?

2001' Winnebago Journey cargo latch mechanism

Posted 05-21-2019 at 11:41 AM by STG

Hello Fellow Winni Owners,
This is my first post/blog, and I hope to find the help from the group of info savy do-it-yourself fellow owners. We're trying to find info on where to buy, and how to replace the outside cargo bin latch assembly. As you know, all of the cargo doors are keyed latch type doors, and as our RV has aged, we're finding that the latches are getting very loose, and in one case has broken from the cargo door. Hoping to see if any of you can offer assistance in this area....
