There are plenty of stories on the Internet about failed adhesive attaching metal parts to fiberglass body panels. In this case, I am referring to the hinges on the front hood that allows access to the generator on my 2005 Journey. One side had completely detached, and the other was loose. It is surprising to me that Winnebago would rely entirely on adhesive for something like this. This is not the only location they did this. I reattached the lower part of the rear cap some time back using Devcon...

You can only watch so much caveman TV. That is, if you are a full-timer, sitting in front of a campfire and poking at the half-burned logs eventually becomes unsatisfying. This is when video entertainment becomes kind of important. In my view, a gas grill is an essential part of camping and although some would say that charcoal is better, I'll take convenience over taste. In order to maximize this concept of convenience, I have devised a way to tap into the main gas source in my motorhome. My first solution utilized the pressure regulator that came attached to the grill requiring a connection to the high-pressure side of the...

If it's not one awning it's the other! Now the awning over the door has given it up in a rather unsettling way. It was getting sticky in that it would not come out without a nudge, so I tried to free it up by running it in and out when it launched itself out suddenly. How it will not retract. The motor turns but no motion in or out. Something awfully familiar about this.

I pulled it down from the coach which was simple enough. Drill out two pop rivets, cut the wires and slide it...
