Converting stovetop/oven to toaster/air fry oven

Posted 12-17-2018 at 05:52 AM by Sunstar 2012

After 7 years of not using the gas cooking appliance I removed the “built-in” unit and replaced with a toaster/air fryer. We have used an induction cooktop and the microwave/convection ovenfor baking, etc. now with this addition we have increased the counter top area and added an additional cooking capability. Still have some staining to finish the project.

Maiden voyage

Posted 11-17-2018 at 07:13 AM by Lightfoot54

Hey look, no basketball hoop in the picture! I just got home from a 3200 mile spin around the storm. Headed counter clockwise on the 70 to the 25 then back on the 40.
Gas was cheapest in Oklahoma, 2.09; and the coach got 8.2 mpg. Wow, this is the time to break out this antique yacht.
Let me also say what i did with the headlight dilemma. I used a die to thread the...

2016 Winnebago Adventurer 37F

Posted 10-27-2018 at 08:54 AM by armullis

On September 10th of this year, my new bride and I traded my 2015 Forest River Georgetown for a 2016 Adventurer. Sheila liked my Georgetown when we got married, but her chief complaints were the bedroom and bathroom were too small. I agreed! Since I am retiring in 2024, we wanted to get the coach upgrade now and get it paid off before we hit the road in the golden years. Additionally, there were some upgrades we wanted to get done sooner rather than later.

Before getting the Adventurer...

M.P.G.

Posted 10-02-2018 at 09:07 AM by Speedojim

We enjoyed 9 M.P.G. gas from Arlington, Tx. to Galveston. Return trip was 11 M.P.G. My genius friend said, "The gasoline at the coast has less alcohol, and is fresher. This was a '98 Georgie Boy 34' pursuit. We will take our '17 Vista 29 LE, avg. 6 M.P.G. I will report any difference to substantiate his opinion.

Headlight adjustment

Posted 09-14-2018 at 05:41 PM by Lightfoot54

The headlights droop. I found out that it uses lights from a 1988 Audi believe it or not! I bought new plastic threaded sockets, part # 6317-11243, but there is no way to install them? One of the screws is knurled, not threaded, and one has its head concealed behind glass. Grrrr. It isn't supposed to be this difficult.
