Hello from Chicagoland! 2021 Micro Minnie 1708FB

I thought a while back I made a post to introduce myself but just realizing now that I didn’t. My wife and I purchased a 2021 1708FB back in May of 2022. We have loved it and have used it quite a bit since purchasing it. It has been all over Wisconsin and this last July made a trip out to Colorado down through AZ & NM and back up through Missouri headed home! Trip was amazing and we got a lot of boondocking in on the trip! We are actually right now in the process of trading it in for a 2023 2108DS FLX. We enjoyed boondocking so much that we want to do much more of it and running the 1708 on just two deep cycle batteries with out a way to charge them was really a pain since I didn’t want to hook up a generator and deal with all the noise in such beautiful quiet places! Super excited to take delivery in a few week of the new unit once a few upgrades have been completed and plan to be on the road at the end of March!

Greetings Jfergus7,
The new 2023 2108DS FLX sounds wonderful. That is a very good point about boondocking without having to run a generator. Is the best sound is the sound of silence?
Welcome to the forum.
