Since there tends to be a lot of 'service bashing' here, I thought I would report a GREAT service. Noticed that my water pump continued to run after water faucets were turned off. Attempted to adjust the pressure switch, but this pump model (5.7 GPM) does not have an adjustment.
Contacted SHURflo, they asked me to return the pump, and replaced it with a new one. Great service, great turn-around time.

Shureflo makes a great 12v pump - I used one on my sailboat years ago and it was a quantum leap over the belt-driven Par pump I had been using and it was very dependable.
The rebuild kits are relatively inexpensive and the unit should be fairly simple to rebuild (mine was.) It is really a good product and apparently one that exceeds customer expectations for service.

Question RedT is your coach still under warranty?? We are on the road, coach out of warranty 16 months old - water pump continues to run on....no option but to replace???
Can't remove from system right now - did ShurFlo give any particulars??

We installed the Smart Sensor 5.7 Pump some time ago and we never regretted it. It's a great performing pump.

The pump has a 3 year warranty. My problem was the same as yours - the SHURflo tech stated that the case was cracked, asked if I had been in freezing weather. (Doesn't freeze here in the Phoenix area)
DriVer, I was referring to the complaints I read here about various Service Centers. For example, Tomcat F15 appears to not be satisfied with Winnebago.

I hope that you are not finding that the majority of members here complain a lot because as your probably already know complaining rarely accomplishes anything however pursuing solutions to the benefit of all is much more productive.
Personally, I am very satisfied with Winnebago Industries and my coach.

As am I. This is our third Winnebago, and we have been pleased. Stuff breaks. Having maintained military and corporate aircraft for 40 years, I know.
People are what cause most customer dissatisfation problems. Usually, when the customer service supervisor learns of a problem, it becomes resolved quickly. (Makes one wonder why the rep isn't trained and given the authority to do the same)
But you're right. Griping seldom brings satisfactory results.
