I can't find any way to contact Haloview?? I need to ask some questions about the BT7 camera. Can that camera be used with the u-bracket and metal hood for the Voyager setup our trailer?

I think the U-shaped bracket would work for the BT7, but not sure if the metal roof comes with the U-shaped bracket or the MC7108 camera.
The BT7 looks like a nice system and should work well for you. However, you may be over thinking the whole camera thing.
The BT7 comes with a sun shade built into the mount. You certainly would not want to try to install the longer U shape bracket designed for the MC7108 because you don't need it since the antenna is mounted on the side and not the back.
Higher resolution is nice but from a practical stand point it doesn't serve any real purpose for the intended use over the standard resolution.
If you can't get the right plug-n-play connector/adapter then you can simply tap into the running light wires. Connect + to + and - to -. I realize this is over simplification but it is not rocket science.
I suggest that you go ahead and buy the BT7 so you can give us a report on how well it works.

I said that I'd update when all of the parts arrived, so here I am.
My experience hasn't gone as well as I had hoped. I ordered the Haloview adapter that literally says on the box it's for Furrion or Voyager pre-wired. Sounds great. I open it this morning, and this is what I have:

https://imgur.com/w1YKiOX

Ok, but the Voyager pre-wire looks like this:

https://imgur.com/Jsy9tkv

I guess I'm going to just have to cut those two wires and wire the plug that the Haloview came with. I didn't bring any wiring tools up to the storage place with me, thinking that the adapter I bought was just going to work. It's not even worth the hassle to return it, unfortunately, and it only took a month to get here. sigh.

My only worry is that now I'm going to have to feed 5' of cable up inside the back of the trailer. I hope that there's enough room.

I would have just bought the Voyager but the ones we have at work (and others) have an always-on microphone that you can't mute. The Haloview lets you mute.

Otherwise everything came out of the box ok and the camera paired right up! The image quality is great.

Now I just need to get it attached to the trailer.

To shorten that 5 feet, I just cut the unused plug off the short cable (came with Haloview 7109) and used it and saved the longer cable for another day. Lot less to stuff inside the wall.

RovingMedics I agree with Bcborn. It is quite a simple since you have wire on the back of that prewire and you can cut the cable from the camera down to a foot or less. Use a couple of small wire nuts and seal the hole with silicone rubber. By the way this is the easy way to turn on the running lights for testing (15 amp fuse). Nice photos.

Just to clarify, I cut the unused plug off the short wire (believe RovingMedics showcased it earlier) and not the wire that is permanently attached to the camera. Figured that might void the warranty.

Did you stuff the rest of the 5' cable down in the back of the trailer?

Only had to stuff the length that was permanently attached to the camera, what ever length it was. I fished out the center marker light wire to tie into and then pushed it back in.

I was not sure how that one was wired. Is it the same? just a red & black wire?

I might just go ahead and sacrifice that one adapter cable. That's a good idea. Now that I think about it, it might just work.

This is why I make posts sometimes. Others answer and it helps me get my hamster back on the wheel.

Yes red and black. Be careful peeling back the outer sheathing to expose the two wires inside. The red and black are a snug fit inside.

I would not worry about cutting wires and making a good splice using smallest blue wire nut with di-electric from HD. You don't want any excess wire, just causes a slight voltage loss. Is the excess wire on the camera side, or on what comes out of the trailer. I think that nothing has the same parts these days due to supply issues. I'm following your progress, and waiting to order. Thank you!

You didn’t included any image urls in your post, just page urls. Only image file urls - which end in jpg, png or gif - can be displayed.

This is why your images did not appear.

Just a FYI.

RovingMedics here is a tip on posting photos directly in your post. Go to http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=1 Select the photo you want to post. A photo and text will be created. Copy the text and paste it in your post. The full photo will show up when you post the reply.

In your example it doesn't show the full image. Here is the full image with no extra stuff around it.

Ah, ok. I see what happened. Some other forum I use automatically parses the Imgur URLs for images and lets you just use the page links and not the actual image urls.

I didn't even see the Advanced editor. That'll work too. I'm going to try to get up there and work on this Sunday, if the weather holds out.

voila!

Mission accomplished.
I went ahead and made a hole in the existing cover on the back (it was quite nicely sealed against the trailer) and routed the cable in that way.
I remembered to turn the headlights to parking/on this time too.

Of course, I got it mounted a little crooked.
But in the end, it's doing the job that I need it to do.
The Haloview camera along with the new towing features of the 2022 Toyota Tundra will make for a safe experience.
