Added a few extra shelves 2017 Micro Minnie 2106FBS

Can never have enough usable storage space.

Added a few extra shelves to our 2106FBS Micro Minnie.

One under the kitchen sink.

Two in the tall cabinet in the bathroom.

Hi Lyle,

I added the same type wire shelves to our bathroom closet last year. How did you secure them? We tried Command hooks but they eventually fell off the wall. I wiped down the walls down with alcohol but that didn't help. I ended up running a #6 screw through each hook into the wall. So far so good.

Hi Fred,

I placed 3/8" Birch Cabinet plywood against the wall and angle stapled one 3/4" staple top and bottom so the plywood wouldn't shake out.

Top pieces of plywood sit on top of the lower shelf and secured same way.

I notched the plywood at the front to accept the shelves lower cross wire. The shelves and wood supports are pushed towards the left vertical cabinet frame so the shelf won't walk forward, the notch prevents the shelf from walking rearward or lifting at the front.
