2023 Micro Minnie 1720FB Furnace Issues

My 1720fb has a cheap thermostat. Just a plastic slider from left to right. When I slide it left nothing happens. No blower or ignition. I am wondering if there is a power switch somewhere. I have checked all the fuses. TIA

Hi 1woodward1,
Here is an older thread where the problem was the thermostat:
Suburban Furnace Not Working
Here is another thread which may be helpful:
Dometic furnace won't kick on
What model furnace do you have, and what model thermostat?

Thanks everyone. I upgraded to a Honeywell thermostat and that fixed the problem. The power switch tab was broken off on the original.

As one of the really easy and fairly cheap upgrades, many RV could use a better thermostat!
If the temperature swings are enough to bother you in the RV, perhaps switching to a digital would be an easy fix?
There are actually quite a number of really nice digital thermostat which can be picked up for free if you are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time!
In this area, there are lots of digital home thermostats being tossed out or put up for free on Craigslist as folks want to have bluetooth or other features.

When "shopping" for a good replacement for an older thermostat, look for those which are battery operated as an easy switch. Many home thermostats operate on 24 volts the home furnace use. If you pick one up that has an onboard battery like a small AA cell, they are easy to switch out.

The digital system will give you much better control than the older metal sensing types that older RV used.
