Trailer Brake Controller
Yesterday I installed a trailer brake controller to our 2022 Adventure. I had waited 7 months thinking some manufacturer would come out with a pigtail for the Ford factory 4 pin brake plug. Having no success with a plug I cut the factory plug and wired directly into Ford harness. In hindsight it would be considerably easier if you removed the captains chair. Ford gave me absolutely no slack in their wiring so that made it very, very tight to use tools. I finished up and it WORKS. In theory it would have been a simple plug and play with a connector pigtail. In reality it’s a pain in the a$$!!!
