Side mounted condenser fans not coming on

2009 Journey 34Y
No power getting to driver side rear ac condenser fans (2). The fans work fine when I apply 12V so not locked up, AC system has correct pressures, not sure exactly where the fans relay is. The is one relay marked "fan" in the front driver electrical panel but that relay tests OK but still no power at the rear fans. Any suggestions appreciated. Worst case I run add a dash switch and relay and turn it on/off manually.

Hmm, I don't think there is a relay. Just a pressure switch up in the front of the RV under the 'hood'. Screwed into the AC tubing. You can check your RV's wiring here: Wiring Diagrams and that should lead you to that pressure switch. There's 2 of them in my system, both under the hood. (Diesel pusher). I have the same set of fans on the drivers side rear that you do. I think your pressure switch is bad.

Once you know which is which, you can just jumper across the two wire terminals and let the fans run (assuming you're driving where it's hot), won't hurt anything, meanwhile you can order the switch. Or probably find it at Napa. Usually it was the threads that were different so it's best to know which threads yours has.

I think those electric fans are also temperature-controlled. The wiring diagram will tell. I"ve never seen mine running and the dash air works great.
I suspect most of the cooling is via the huge hydraulic fan on the inside of the radiator sandwich.

I think this will be info which Winnebago considered chassis and therefore not something they support in their drawings!
Sorry, but I think that dumps it back into the chassis folks who hold that info tight!

Fans

If you can look for the thermostat that goes into the heater box on firewall. There’s two wires. If you remove them and jump them together see if your fans come on. It might be a bad connection or thermostat might be bad . Mine would work sometimes and then go warm. Changed it for about 40 dollars and has been good

Have you checked the circuit breaker that feeds your condenser fans? I had a similar issue and Cummins Coach Care finally found a wire harness that had come loose and dropped near the high temp turbo pipe. They cut and reconnected the 6 wires and after that everything worked again, even my storage bay lights that kept blowing their circuit breaker.
