Drivers Side Slide 2008 Voyage 35A Workhorse chassis

Hi, The drivers Side slide has stopped working and is throwing up a code; Rear Actuator battery voltage less than 8 volts (during startup) where did they hide the electric motor on the 35 A?
I am trying to disconnect the supply voltage plug and measure it.
Thanks

Hi RLG,
I was looking at your on-line Owner's Manual. It is handy in that you can search it with a <Ctrl/F> slideout <Enter>. I found this phrase on page 10-7:
  • The Front Slideout Room has two motor/gearbox units which are located near the ‘ceiling’ of the storage compartments beneath each end of the slideout room.
Hopefully, an owner of a 2008 Voyage with first-hand experience can help here.
In the brochure for the 2008 Voyage, a 35A and a 35L are described; which is your floor-plan? It looks like those two have different slideout configurations.
Welcome to the forum.

Thanks, I looked at the manual and I guess I have a different motor than it shows in the picture, mine is a jack screw with the motor mounted on the end of the assembly. The front is easily accessible…the rear is under the house floor I think. I can look through the assembly from the outside of the storage container and I see the end of the drive screw. It’s crazy!
