Lock replacement on Winnebago Burk caravan (Australia)

Where can i find instructions to install the lock on my Winnebago Burk caravan? We have purchased a new one.

Hi Ward52,
I see that there are a few models of Burk Caravan; great looking trailers! I especially liked having two gas-burners plus one electric burner.
As for the lock, are to talking about the entry door or the trailer hitch?

Thanks for the reply our van is a 2018 Burke B and it is the entry door lock that is the issue.

I have uploaded a photo of the door lock for our 2018 Winnebago Burke B Caravan. We have purchased a new one. Does anyone know how I might get instructions on how to fit it. I'm new at chat rooms, not sure if I am doing something wrong!

Hi Ward52,
So from the looks of your handle, it is what we call "European Style." Etrailer has this web page with a model which should be fairly similar to your installation:

The YouTube video below shows the basic steps to replace a door lock. Sorry that I cannot find anything more specific.
Anyone else out there have experience with this style of lock?

I’d love it if we can help you. But please realize that we are a US based forum for US made Winnebagos. We have less than a handful of international members and they are in the UK, Germany, Italy and, yes, Australia. By less than a handful I mean perhaps 6 or 7 total from all those countries combined.

We are eager to help and to learn but please understand our limitations when it comes to international models from Winnebago and their international partners.
