Storage area lock replacement
I just took my 2020 2108DS out of storage. Unfortunately the four locks into the storage area were all frozen. I would guess there was some corrosion involved because after significant work with penetrating oil I was able to get them working again (mostly). The locks still stick but I’ll keep working them with oil. Replacing the locks in the storage area has always been something I would like to do. Has anyone replaced there slam latch locks? Can the slam locks be removed and the just the lock cylinders be replaced? We don’t have significant mileage on the camper and the last winters the camper has been stored in a barn with and RV cover so I’m surprised all four locks were seized up.
