Not done it but I might point to a way to get more info on wires.
Are you familiar with the "wire identification chart"?
Winn uses a system to ID each wire like this:
If we find a wire we can look at the ID and then go to this chart:
https://www.winnebago.com/Files/File...ical_guide.pdf
This will give us the "FROM" and "TO" of that wire which often tells us a bit about the use.
OR as an alternate use we can work it back the other way!
If we want to know something about a wire wwe find on drawings or a loose wire we start with the ID but if we only know we want to ID wires goiing to something specific like "door locks", we can go to the chart, hit control "F" to get a drop down were we canput in the terms we are interested in finding.
Just as a try, I input "lock" and bingo it brought 99 places where that term is found!
Click this snip to get a better view or go direct and play a bit as you look for clues?
Yes, looking at 99 places can be tedious, but much better than crawling under the dash?
Also, the more specific, you make the search term, the fewer hits you find.
Lock gets 99
door lock gets 22
and door lock/unlock only gets one!
One of the reasons I use this site so much is that looking for info is like an Easter egg hunt.
Just think how good it feels if you find the big gold one??
But you may also totally strike out, so i'll wish you luck and let you play the game!
