I am certainly curious as to where you can safely park an RV within 1/2 mile of the French Quarter.

While we have not been there in a long time the only places I know to park that close to the FQ are the French Quarter RV Resort, an abandoned (at least when we were last there) place that I think used to be a food market and the street along the cemetery. I never thought that the last two were safe places and the FQ is not cheap, so any suggestion would be helpful if we ever go back.
