RV Newbie with 2009 Chalet WF231JR

Hello! My name's Isaac and I'm excited to explore the world of RVs! I just purchased a 2009 Winnebago Chalet (WF231JR) 32' long class C. I live in the high desert in SoCal. Me and my gf love camping and our trips have been expanding from 'what we can fit in the trunk of my car', to 'how much can we stuff in the back seat!'. So growing into an RV was a natural progression.

It needs a little TLC before I'm confident in taking any trips, but I'm pretty handy, listen to directions well, and looking to connect with an experienced community to learn from!

Greetings Isaac,
The rig looks like she's in pretty good shape. At fifteen years old, I would really check-out the tires and batteries, as well as all of the usual fluid inspections and changes.
Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm looking into getting a new set of Goodyear Assurance tires. My NRVIA inspectors noted poor tire condition as a critical safety point to address. I'm also going to be getting a set of new house and vehicle batteries once i finish checking the electrical for myself. Solar was added to it by the previous owner, but i want to make sure it ties into the system right.

Any battery or tire brands you particularly like, or hate?

Hi again Isaac,
We have a recent Thread on tires:
Minnie Winnie tire recommendations
These tires would be the same load-range as your E-450.
As far as batteries are concerned, I am happy with NAPA Lead-acids.
FYI; Eagle5
