That's a good explanation video. The only thing he missed, and he briefly mentioned the plug to the control board, is to clean the contacts on all the plugs/connections. Quite often simply by unplugging and reattaching the connections it cleans off enough corrosion to reestablish current flow.
I use a pencil eraser to clean contacts as part of my spring maintenance.
