Interior 12vdc LED lights are real bright

Our 12vdc LED interior lights are the brightest we have ever had and we really like having plenty of light - when it's needed. From some common sitting positions in the trailer they are uncomfortably bright. We have taken some of the covers off and lined them with painters tape and that helps.

Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to cut down the light?

Good information. Thank you.

... will likely order those in the link. Might also look for replacement covers and tint them myself. I want to keep the originals in stock condition.

We had the same issue in our 1708FB. LEDs were over-the-top white & bright. We replaced all the overhead lights with these. Toned the brightness and frequency down to a nice level more representative of an incandescent bulb.

This was one of the best mods I've done. I did leave a few OEM to add extra brightness where/when needed (ex. bathroom switch).
