Wall separation in 2007 View

My brother has a 2007 View (model WD523H) that is having wall separation issues (see photos below). He is unsure how the damage occurred, but suspects when his son borrowed the RV he must have snagged the molding on something.

Has anyone had an issue like this, and if so, how was it repaired?

The photos are of inside the shower (above the shower surround, which shows at the bottom of the photo) looking at the driver side rear corner and outside looking at the same corner.

Thanks.

It looks like the rear wall has separated from the side wall? Considering the location, it might involve the roof also. Removing the molding might reveal the extent of the damage. Not sure I would attempt a DIY repair on that before consulting an expert.
