Extra door grab rail for the Navion

There's a nicely shaped 30" grab rail on the right side of the Navion coach door to use as a handhold when exiting the coach. I'd like to put another one just like it on the left side. I checked and if reversed it fits fine ... But where does one find that sort of spare parts?

I like to go for the best price/ value/ shipping so go online and look for several winnebago parts dealers and compare. May are very helpful as they are small operations and some will not have all the specific parts but that is part of the chase!
This is the parts catalog for Winnebago parts and you may be able to spot that specific item for a part number:

That looks like a wonderful parts site, but doesn't load on my Mac Computer.

I called Winnebago Parts.com https://winnebagoparts.com/

So you mail them a photo of what you want, with all of your particulars, e.g. make, model, year, vin# and they get back with a quote pretty quickly, Then you call in with your cc and they drop ship from Winnebago Industries.

I did the same mod you’re talking about...

Hi Scotty,
Great idea. This is where motorhomes which have overhead berths sometimes have their ladders mounted.

Wyatt, thank you for that very complete info. I've just finished taking the photos and sent off an enquiry.

Well! That was fast! They had one in stock and it is now being packaged for shipping to us. Reasonable price, too. Thanks again.

Good deal, glad it worked out, I’ve tried some somewhat local dealer departments but they were really slow, and more costly.

The world is based on being right handed. If you're right handed, you don't think about it. If you're left handed; for the most part, you get used to it.

Just thought I'd post an update. It all started because I'm a lefty and wanted a left hander's interior grab rail at the door to the Navion. So at Wyatt's suggestion I ordered a spare Right Hand grab bar because it looked to me that it could be reversed and mounted in a similar location on the Left Hand inside of the entrance door.... close to where the ladder mounts.

To my amazement it worked! It's mounted maybe a quarter inch farther from the door opening and a few inches higher than the right hand one. Plenty of clearance for the ladder. Installation required 8 of the same size screws used on the right side, an 1/8" drill, some tape and a pencil. An hour later it was mounted and sturdy. Looks good too.
