Entry door grab handle

While looking at new RV's last week at the Houston RV show I noticed most of the class A handles were lighted. The handle on my Adventurer looks like it should light up, but it never has since I bought it used even though it's only a 2016. There are little white rods running through the clear part of the handle. I took it off the coach there are no electrical connections at all.
so is it supposed to light? If so, how do I turn it on?

Most likely it is not lighted. Not as familiar with the 2016 models, but in prior years Winnie only had lighted handles on the top-end diesels. Did look at your sales brochure, doesn't mention it as a feature or option.

Not to say you can't do it yourself. There are several threads where people have installed a small LED and ran the wire up to the porch light. Biggest challenge is running the wire in the wall.

Aspects are the same way. I contacted Winnebago and they verified that the handle is not lighted. Maybe they use the same handle on several models but only a few are lighted?

My 2015 Journey was the same way , but I easily ran a LED light to the lower part of the handle and it lights up just like the OEM . I also added a led light strip to the bottom of the steps to light the way and ran the power off the interior step lights already in place . You can also power it off the porch light switch .

Our journey came the same way! We got the light on eBay that fits in the top and gets wired into the porch light switch. It's worth it!
