Dash Lights for HVAC control not working

New to me 2015 Cambria and I notice at night the climate control lights do not illuminate. Dash lights all work, radio works, but fan knob and temp control knob are dark. I checked online and can only seem to find issues on older E450s. Wondering if anybody has had this same problem?

From what I read, there is a resistor gone bad on older units which requires replacing the entire ac control. But I am hoping it's just a bulb. Anybody?

Hi Joetiii,
I would think it would be a bulb. The old video below is for older versions of the E-450, but Ford changes things slowly, so perhaps that is it.

Yeah, before a get ambitious and take the dash apart, I'm going to get a few bulbs.

Murphys law.
