Mine is somewhat related in question. E450 Minnie Winnie and plan to tow an open car hauler with a Kia Niro. Niro weighs about 3,200# and car hauler weighs about ,1,450#. If I read manual correctly, it states 5,000 towing capacity. I know that will be cutting it close. Has anyone towed something similar?
Re-calculate your numbers, I see 1,000# instead of 500#. The less the Class C weighs adds to the GCWR number.
