I'm not sure there is room under there Tom. I looked around under there at the possibility of installing a small auxiliary fuel tank and gave up.
Are you planning some cold weather boondocking? You might want to look for a propane dealer that has a large scale operation and sells/installs, we have a huge one here that works on motorhome stuff.
On our Via we have never come close to running out of propane but we haven't done much camping without hookups. We've owned it for 3 years now and only topped off the tank twice with just a few gallons.
Keep in mind your Via has a heat pump as well. We run a tiny 600 watt space heater though because it is so quiet compared to the heat pump, but then anything under about 50F is bitter cold to us.

Maj Tom-

Most folks who want more propane capacity add a tee to the high-pressure side of the regulator. Then they connect a "portable" source of propane to the tee, such as a 20-pound grill cylinder. Would that solution work for you?

What is your goal?

A gizmo called Extend-A-Stay is one way to deal with adding extra volume without too much extra trauma.
I hate videos as they blow so much smoke but this one does show how it might work for you!

Thanks everyone for ur thoughts. Yes, I was looking for an easy simple solution. Extra grill bottle is easy to do and simple to exchange.

Get an Extend-a-stay kit. Ours came in handy during an ice storm.

I would suggest this kit from MB Sturgis, https://mbsturgis.com/products/quick...ay-deluxe-kit/
Have this on mine and really like the quick disconnect hoses. Makes switching the spare bottle even easier. The other versions seem to have screw together connections for the hoses.
