2012 Ellipse 42QD TV

I need to get behind my front room TV. Has anyone taken this TV off the mount? Or do I have to take the mount off the wall? The screws on the bottom of the mount are hard to get to. Thanks.

I took my tv off to relocate the zone 3 sensor. By removing the philips screws across the top bracket just behind the top will allow you to lift the tv up and out.

It had been bothering me that zone 3 sensor in cooling mode seemed to be running from 4 to 9 degrees higher than It actually felt. It was that the call sensor was located directly above the living room tv and the heat was rising off of it. The following link shows where it was and where I moved it to:

Thanks

Jesse,
Thanks for your advice. I took the TV off the wall today just as you suggested. What's funny is that when I bought the coach there was a cable problem that required the TV to come off the wall. The tech at Camping World took the entire mount, top and bottom, off to get the TV down. He said that was the only way. He said those bottom screw were a bear to get out. Guess he should have asked on irv2.com how to do the job!

Today I took my TV off the mount that Winnebago uses and put it on a great pullout and swivel mount. I can now get to the back of the TV anytime I need to, and the TV can be turned toward the person sitting in the recliner. The picture for the person in the recliner is now much clearer. Oh, and I also replaced the stock 40" Samsung with a 46" Sony. Also a vast improvement in picture quality.
