Driving around town today in my car with temps of 90 degrees and humidity at 70% my car's A/C decides to quit....
Back at camp, while sitting outside at dinner, my RV A/C poured a couple of cups of water on the ground and now it does not work. It keeps tripping A/C circuit 1 (20 amp) breaker. A/C circuit 2 is ok.
Our AC unit is not ducted. DHtook it apart with a socket set on the inside and tightened the bolts. Be careful don;t over tighten. The AC seal can become loose from travel. Hope this fixes your problem.

I think osgoor is saying that water drained from the A/C unit and then quit running. I just replaced my rear unit; since I didn't have time to mess with trying to repair it, I had a new unit installed. The repair service did tell me that 70% of the time, it's the capacitor that fails. Easily replaced but I didn't have the time to try that and not have it work for a trip that I am currently on. -RT
Had a service guy stop by yesterday to diagnose my AC problem. Turns out that compressor one has seized up. This is a closed system so the entire unit must be replaced to the tune of $3,600.
And this morning the car goes in to the shop for either a new clutch kit or a new compressor/clutch.

If you're anywhere near Chattanooga TN, give Steve Shelburne a call at 423-290-8367. $3,600 will buy a lot of fuel...

I shared your day. The car was already in the shop and while preparing the coach for our trip the thermostat quit working. Waiting for thermostat.
You can buy a portable air conditioner from lowes for less than 500.
Just need a 4 inch vent to the outside. You can do this at a window.
Just my thoughts.
