New head unit it...constant power

Hello again.
So in my 2016 Journey I have installed a Kenwood DNR1008RVS. It works great with the ignition on or in the accessory position. Cameras switch correctly, great audio, even the 10" sub I installed is great.

Now here's my question...how to power it WITHOUT the ignition on or in the acc position. The previous stock head unit (Xite XSG3NA) had the ability to power up without messing with the ignition. I do not however see any additional leads or connections on how this was accomplished. So it makes me think it's ability is built into the unit itself. My first inclination is to just wire the red acc lead from the new unit's harness to the constant 12v that runs into the harness. I've never done this so am unsure if this is the proper way.
Any thoughts?
TIA!

Hi Matt,
In reviewing the manual (on page 97) it appears that you have it correct; just wire the yellow and red together to continuous power. What concerns me is will your cameras be kept on all of the time if you do this.
I do not understand why you cannot just use the Accessory Position on your ignition switch.

Thank you.
The only reason I'm trying to avoid that is because even in the Acc position the "Jacks Down" alert keeps dinging. I've been tempted to cut that wire anyway lol.

Also the camera power I believe is completely independent. I did not have to wire anything from the head unit to the CVS camera switcher to provide power. Pretty sure their power control is completely separate through their own switcher.

My thought may be way off but I should ask how well you know this RV? Any chance there is a switch on the dash to choose which 12VDC you use for the radio?
Some do but likely some do not, so any "unidentified" dash switches?

EDIT?
Looking further, I see the switch I was asking about! We don't get the best info on the RV after 2010 but this looks like what I think of as a switch to allow us to switch power from the chassis side to the coach side?

I never fully understood why I would want to have it on the chassis side, even when driving as the two are connected together at that point and we just left it on the coach side.

You mean the "Engine"/"House" button directly under the unit? Yeah I have that lmao! The best part is I've used that before and completely forgot it was there, it's just been that long and I completely spaced it. So it works now with no key. Good times.

Thank you!
