Marquis Gold 5500 stops when load removed
I am having a weird problem with my Marquis Gold 5500. When I exercize it with the AC it runs fine. When I turn the AC off, the generator stops. I can restart it and it runs fine.
It just came out of the Cummins shop after having the drive belt replaced. I will not be going back to that shop, I don't want to see them and they don't want to see me.
Any suggestions that don't require a trip to Cummins.

If you don't already have an account, create one at https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html and download the service manual for your genset. It has a great troubleshooting tree.

My bad, I forgot Cummins has all their literature copyrighted.
These utube videos might offer some insight into the problem.
I have no idea if this archives.org webpage may be useful, but here it is anyway: https://archive.org/details/manuals_rv_generators

This is the model of genset, 5.5HGJAB-901A
Since I got a way to measure frequency, I have a better understanding of the failure.
With no load, the frequency gradually rises to 66 Hz and code 14
Under load (AC full blast), the generator keeps running at 63Hz.
When the load is removed, speeds up and code 14.
