I just purchased a 2013 Journey 36m. Previous owner removed the DVD player, which controlled the surround sound system in the RV. Does anyone know what model DVD player Winnebago was putting in the Journeys? ( I believe it was a Sony just don’t know the model) I would like to be able to use the surround sound.

In looking at the brochure for the 2013 Journey, I did see a component which handles video selection (please see photo below.) Curiously, there seems to be a blank space above this component, so I'm wondering if that is where the DVD player should be located? Does your Journey have this blank location? Hopefully, another Journey Owner can add some clarity here.

My 2017 Adventurer has that same 4X4 HDMI Matrix as shown in Eagle5’s post above. And, above that is my BluRay Home Theater system that powers the Surround Sound.
In my RV it’s 5.1 channels and is or was made by LG. I don’t know for sure what model I have but it looks similar to this one on eBay
On page 8-3 of The Owner's Manual, I found a picture of the DVD Player. Page 8-3 also says the DVD Player Supplemental Guide should be in your Infocase. When I look at the picture of it, it appears that it has the Blu Ray symbol on the right.
