Not sure which manual you have but go here https://myrvworks.com/manuals/ and you will find two pdf on resets, one for older Norcolds and one for newer Norcolds. There is also a service manual for the 1200 series.

Sorry I wish I could be more help, hopefully someone who knows Norcold will be by. I might be tempted to test the pin first to see if it is grounded or powered and follow the wire to see where it goes then depending on what you find maybe disconnect the wire and ground out the terminal per the instructions. Are you sure the wire wasn't added in order to do the reset from a more accessible location? What is at the other end of that wire?

well all the wires go into a connector right under the board and go into the fridge.so i'm assuning they work their way up to the door control.i have had thoughts of popping that wire out and then jumping the pin and see what happens.last spring when i got the camper out of storage the display would not light up,well i come to find out after the fact that it had to have 12v to power the display, and i had my chassis battery unhooked.soo at that time i was pissed off at it and told my wife it is outa here.took it out and put in a residential fridge and love it.the only reason i am trying to get this thing going is to move it down the road.figure a working fridge will sell better then a brick.

update on norcold 1200 reset with wire in pin 15

so as i mentioned [above] because of my own lack of knowledge on these fridges i ended up getting it locked out and i could not find info on how to reset my fridge as i have a red wire in the pin 15 hole.so i figured what do i have to lose so i went an inch out from the board and cut the red wire and stripped it back, and grounded it and about 10 seconds later i get a click the no.co. code disappeared and the beeping stopped, and it is now cooling.so an fyi for those that happen to have a wire in pin 15 location just cut reset and reattach the wire.i just put bullet connectors on it for the next owner as it is for sale as a working fridge now.
