Have you pushed the green on/off button on the end of the inverter? Does it show a voltage on the meter?

Here's a link to the inverter manual:
https://www.magnum-dimensions.com/si...ies%29_Web.pdf

And, here's what the end of the inverter (as shown in your first post) looks like and you'll see the on/off button.

Okay, I put a volt meter on both sides of the fuse and got 12.5, on both sides, with no shore power.

I also put the volt meter on the back of the inverter and it's getting power. 12.5.

Something must be wrong with the on/off switch in the coach or the inverter.

I'm with you - That's what I'd say as well.

I know you chose to not have a PDI (pre-delivery inspection) on your RV. You seem pretty capable, have you had a motorhome before?

You might want to find some way of having someone walk you through everything. These can be complicated possessions.

Creativepart I'd like to thank you for your advice. With your help I figured out it was the inverter or the on/off switch inside the coach. Per your advice I called Magnum and like you said the guy that answered was very knowledgeable. He said on the back of the on/off switch (interior of coach) there should be a phone jack and a spade terminal. I told him I only saw a phone jack.

So I got home and looked at the back of the on/off interior switch:

I was thinking the whole day (I was at work when I called Magnum) it would be a huge job to run a new power supply to the on/off switch. However, I was shocked when I shined a flashlight into the wall and saw the missing spade terminal. I fished it out with a coat hanger and reconnected it and now the inverter works :-)

Again, thank you very much for your help and as with most things an easy fix once you figure out the problem.
