Any idea what is behind this corner?

In my 2003 31c Minnie, what is behind this corner in the bedroom? Is there a stud there? I wanted to screw in a tv mount there.

It's a blind guess and I'd say NO stud for a TV support in that wall. Why do I say that? It's a 17 year old RV AND that table top is meant for you to set a CRT based old-style TV Tube TV on it.

At that time there were no TVs to hand on the wall of an RV so they didn't put bracing in the walls to hang a TV on.

What I've seen others do - short of just sitting a TV /Stand on that cabinet, is have a sold piece of thick plywood cut to glue and screw to the entire wall with it's bottom resting on the cabinet top. Then attach the TV hanging mount to that board.

Make it look nice because once in place it will be fairly permanent.

You'll find small, probably 1" by 1" studs in the corners of the wall but those alone won't be very strong or hold much weight.

You are probably right. I was kinda hopeful because that corner has a solid looking section that goes all the way up.

I think a stand is probably the way to go.

You could also try a computer desk monitor mount. You could mount it to that cabinet top.

I see a shower door to the left, so my guess is that it covers the vent pipe to the roof? CreativePart has a great idea, though!

Makes sense. I ordered one of those monitor stands. I think it will work out great

That thing in the corner houses your vent pipe from the black or grey tank, I'm pretty sure. I'd be careful drilling into that.

If you have or can find a small electronic stud finder, it might be able to help you find exactly where those perimeter framing member are.
