Ceiling light obsolete? 2015 Itasca Sunstar 35F

I have one (for now) ceiling light flickering and it's mildly annoying. I dropped the light out of the ceiling and have the info but I can't locate the light anywhere - even the manufacturer. I do have a call into them, but I'm not hopeful.

Might anyone know where to get the entire light or, if the bulb (LED) comes out - where to purchase?

Thanks,
Rick

That "bulb" might have an ordinary 12V pinned base, try to push in and turn to remove. If that happens, the bulb base might have a number stamped into the brass base.
Use gloves, some LED's don't like to be touched.

Humm, the photo shows the manufacturer’s website and part number.

They have an online shop to order the part from.

Here’s the link to order directly from the manufacturer - 2 for $21.95. There are two choices, your photo shows you have the “spring mount”.

That site looks like a real winner! Far better than I find at times as it even includes instructions for install!
That can be a point to check as the wiring colors may not go like you would expect. Depending what colors Winnebago has used, they show black supply going to the white of the light? That could easily trip us if we were not watching!
And with LED, it does matter!

OP here: Thanks everyone for the suggestions and for the manufacturers location on the web site, for some reason (loose nut on this end) I couldn't find it. I'll order them today.

I wish mine had the spring clips, but mine are "screwed" into the ceiling which as we all know is like screwing into nothing. I may have to put some thread around the screws to get the hold. We'll see.

Thanks again!

I had the same problem on mine and ended up replacing all over time. I had to order the last few from ITC after not finding them elsewhere. Very happy, shipping was quick and the price was reasonable.

FWIW, it was a pretty easy install, getting the old one out was 99% of the work as the lenses on mine had all stuck to the ceiling. Unscrew old, cut exiting wire connections, crimp new, screw back in ceiling and twist lens back on. By the end I could knock one out in under 5 min.

Good luck! (Bookmark the site, There was a bad run of lights around the vintage of our coaches, ended up in a bunch of RVs and Boats. If one is flickering it likely won’t be the last!)

One way to deal with the loose screw problem in thin ply on foam is easy to try. It can work to hold for a long time and not much trouble.

When rebuilding old RV, it was a common problem as folks seem to love to tear the lights off the ceiling!

I found sticking something like a toothpick or small match in glue, forcing it up in the old hole and adding as many as seemed needed and then cutting them flush was a pretty quick way to make the hole tight enough to fit the screws!
I did find it worked better and less sloppy if I put the wood in and let the glue dry before screwing it on?

Thanks Richard, since the screws are so small, that's exactly what I'll try. Should work fine!

We had a defective batch of these lights on our 2016 Aspect. We were traveling and had no operable lights in the bedroom or bathroom. A challenge to say the least. I called ITC and they sent the lights to the RV park right away. Fantastic company that takes pride in their work and helps customers with a problem.

These don't have replaceable bulbs they have circuit boards with LEDs soldered onto them with the power supply chips also soldered onto the boards.

Winnebago bought a batch that had poor quality. Unfortunatly the exact replacement is not available. I bought some other similar inexpensive round LED ceiling lights from Amazon and removed their round boards and was able to use them to rebuild the defective OEM ones. I did this because the OEM ones from Winnebago have the nice glass light diffusers and the ones I found on Amazon had cheap plastic diffusers.

Mine were exactly the same. They didn't have bulbs. Circuit boards and LED. Hoping it works out for you.

OP here, well, the new lights from ITC arrived today and I should be installing the new one within a day or two. I'll update the post when it's finished up.
Thanks
