I'm not sure I'm understanding you. It's true that the aftermarket TPMS won't interface with the existing OEM TPMS system but I don't see any reason to replace anything. You'd just put the sensors from your RV TPMS on your toad's valve stems and both systems will work fine. If, on the other hand, the TST system requires internal sensors then I understand, in which case I wouldn't go that route.

We had a rear tire on the Suzuki Samurai we were towing with our Vista completely come apart delaminating and beating the cr— out of the Sami. No indication at all in the Vista. Trucker behind us started flashing his lights, and a car passing us on the left was honking and pointing. Fortunately it didn’t do too much damage.
Tire did not lose air so a pressure warning wouldn’t have alarmed us

We have seen several RVs towing vehicles with tires gone away and sparks flying from the rim on the road, that we flagged down. Neither felt any indication of issues

Pressure warning would have helped them

Thanks.

I bought my first TPMS within a month of getting my RV in 2008.
I like Tire Traker as their current TT500 comes with lifetime warrantee.

I use the "Smart tire minder" It works very well. I have used it for about 20,000 miles and like it. It uses your smart phone as the monitor thru bluetooth. It keeps from mounting a separate monitor. When there is an alert, it sounds an alarm and you look at the phone to see what the warning is. It is very easy to set up and far easier than most units. You will need to buy a transmitter for each wheel that you want to monitor. As in my earlier post, It paid for itself by saving damage to an aluminum wheel. We were on a road that didn't have any traffic and we would have dragged the toad for miles if not for the tire minder.

never had that happen, but use TPMS with 10 sensors. You might notice if you were watching read camera, but TPMS will yell at you if anything is not right. Get one

Use the "Code" button to ignore the missing sensors. The instructions will tell you what to do.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement. Not that I went to Amazon to look but I emailed with a question on a Sunday expecting to hear back when the week started and got a reply within about 30 minutes. Maybe I was lucky, but I through that was pretty good customer service.

I called EZ customer service while installing them and received very good instructions to get the system working. People without problems are less likely to post reviews, just sayin'
