Dare I say that this trip has the "Seal of Approval?" The Santa Cruz Redwoods RV Park looks just fine (update link). How clear is the water in the San Lorenzo River? Looks like a great spot.

Thanks for the catch, Eagle5! I’ll fix the link. Haha...”seal” of approval. It was a little strange to be camping under the redwoods and spending the whole time at the beach, but there was a long line to get into Henry Cowell, which has a great nature path through the redwoods. It was also a little chilly under the trees so we wanted sunshine, just like the seals. :-)
