Replacing the hw heater check valve fixed my issue. Wasn’t as tough a job as I expected, I should have replaced this sooner. All fixed.

Sorry. I mean when you insert the awning fabric into the rail on the coach, there is a nylon rod (pin) that holds the fabric to the RV. Hope that better describes it.
