Oil pressure gauge in 2002 Journey 36DL

My oil pressure gauge is pegged all the way to the right and is has a part number of 7570-10002-01 and I am unable to find this part anywhere including Freightliner, does anyone have any ideas.

Hi jlmathew,
If the gauge reads low (or zero) when the key is off, then I would think the problem would be the oil pressure sender and not the gauge. Would that be the case?
Welcome to the forum.

Most of those gauges use a ground signal and if the wire gets pinched somewhere it can short to ground and peg the gauge.

oil pressure gauge

I removed the gauge and tapped it a few times to see if that would dislodge the stuck needle to no avail. I am unable to locate a new replacement from freightliner or stewart warner.

If that's the case and it is a standard size like 2-1/8" you can replace it with any brand gauge but you will most likely also need to replace the sending unit with the one that comes with the gauge. Can you post a picture of it? Personally I like the Isspro EV-2 gauges.

That is a standard 2-1/8" gauge, if you want you can just replace it with an after market gauge and sender. You'll just need to trace out which wires are for the backlighting and tie those into your new one.
